Within the Leaders for Nature network CEO's and board members, senior and middle management and young professionals work closely together to improve the environmental and sustainable performance of their organization. An increased involvement and leadership of current and future leaders is crucial to realise the necessary changes.

• CEO's and Board members:
  The top executives are able to set the sustainability agenda, to translate this agenda into the business model, and to help build capacity for sustainability, and therefore they play a vital role in leading the organization towards sustainable change.
  
  
• Senior & Middle management:   
  Middle management acts as the gatekeeper of change and they play an important role in integrating sustainability within the organization.
  
  
• Young professionals:
  Young professionals (YPs) have a large stake in the future and may contribute to a long-term business perspective. They have the energy and the drive to push the sustainability agenda within their organizations from the bottom.
